Dalmeny -10km out of Narooma

The inlets at Narooma on the way to Dalmeny

We were so lucky to discover Dalmeny - a small place, 10km N of Narooma. We set up home high on the edge of the ocean and inlet.
The park manager was great and made sure we had a top spot before the other happy campers arrived for the long weekend!
We stayed the whole weekend where we watched with fascination the build up of storm clouds and a beautiful resulting rainbow.
Because the tide came in and out twice a day the inlet filled up and we had to cross the bridge to get onto the beach. It truly is a magnificent beach to walk on when the tide has gone out.
On one of the clear days we rode the bike track into Narooma - the area's pride and joy. Everyone who stays at Dalmeny brings their bikes! The track winds high up along the edge of the ocean with lookouts all along the way.
It really was a lovely weekend and we could have stayed there a long time.
