Discovering Milton

Our view.
The sunset from "Milton Spa".

Pigeon House Mountain we did not get to the top of!! Others fitter and younger did. Ha, ha.
.
The views from where we got to were fantastic.

After seeing how crowded Ulladulla was with holiday makers from Sydney (only about 250km away) we travelled a little further on to a tiny town called Milton where we found a place to set up home. It was at the Milton showgrounds - $18 a night - amidst rolling green fields, hills, passing herds of cows, beautiful sunsets - everything that suited us. Felicity's posh friend from Sydney thought we were staying at "The Milton Spa"!! From then on, we called the showgrounds - our accommodation -  "The Milton Spa"!
We've loved it here, exploring the whole area, taking it in turns using each other's cars. We've climbed mountains - high ones!! - gone bush walking to see the beautiful views from the Budawang Ranges, been marketing at the smallest farmers' market, walked around the little town, driven through the amazing forests in the area, seen the place where Felicity and Brian's daughter is getting married in January, had picnics, shared dinners in the smallest restaurants viz our caravans. We have felt so lucky to be in such a beautiful part of the world.
As we look at our map it seems that we will be in NSW for a long time. It is beautiful.
Tomorrow we are off to Kangaroo Valley.
