The first morning we woke up in Kangaroo Valley we were surrounded by mist. |

A lookout on the way to Kangaroo Valley. |
We had been told by a number of people not to miss Kangaroo Valley. To get to the tiny village and caravan park there were some very steep ascents and descents. We just managed to catch a sign that warned us that the road we were about to take was not suitable for caravans! Luckily we found a suitable place to turn and take a more suitable road. Many roads around the area are exceptionally narrow and have severe blind corners. At times, driving was pretty hair-raising!

Windy, forested roads. |
Besides the hazardous roads, everywhere you stop and look, beautiful views and sights abound.
It's a beautiful part of Australia to visit. We have felt so happy and peaceful here. We will have stayed almost a week.

When I opened this fridge it was filled with a commercial production of fudge - not little bags of hand made fudge like I make for the family at Christmas time. A bit disappointing! |

A glamping moment. Felicity and Brian's 43rd wedding anniversary. I made the scones that we had with jam and cream. Gluten free of course!
