There were 2 things we wanted to do before leaving Sydney. One was to visit some old family and the other was to go to a Hillsong church service which was on our way into Sydney. The headquarters of Hillsong in Baulkham Hills is a huge, high tech, modern structure bustling with "humanity". In the foyer of the structure - sorry, church - "humanity" buzzes...and buzzes! Inside of the foyer is a huge, multi-layered auditorium - sorry, church- where the rock concert - sorry - the church service is held. What a way to worship - if that's what you want. Though I missed the sacred, I LOVED the music...but the sacred was there. It was all that Humanity.
After the 2 hour service we went to the market at Windsor, had a Thai lunch and then spent a great afternoon with Uncle Paddy, Colleen and Kevin. They were all well and we caught up on all the past years and the recent loss of Aunty Made. It was great to see them and we had a few good laughs too, sharing memories.
